Paul Williams is an Oscar, Grammy and Golden Globe winning Hall of Fame songwriter and President & Chairman of the Board of ASCAP. Paul Williams' career in music really began in 1967 when his acting career stalled, proof once again that "No" is often a gift. He began writing for his own amusement and happily discovered his life's work. Williams' songs include: "We've Only Just Begun," "An Old Fashioned Love Song," "Evergreen," "Rainy Days And Mondays," "I Won’t Last A Day Without You," "You And Me Against The World," "The Rainbow Connection," "The Love Boat Theme," "You're Gone," "Let Me Be The One," "Nice To Be Around," "Out In The Country," "Family Of Man," "Cried Like A Baby," "Love Dance" and "My Fair Share."  Williams wrote the song scores for the following motion pictures: Bugsy Malone, Phantom Of The Paradise, The Muppet Movie, A Muppet Christmas Carol, One On One, Ishtar, Cinderella Liberty, A Star Is Born, and The End. Williams has earned many Academy and Grammy award nominations, won an Academy award (Best Song) for "Evergreen," and won Grammy awards for "Evergreen" (Best Song) and The Muppet Movie (Best Recording for Children, as producer).
