Whitney Daane

 Whitney Daane began her music publishing career in 1996 at Maverick Music.  In 2000 she launched her own company, Mighty Isis Music, representing writers in Nashville, Los Angeles and New York and began consulting for London-based Kobalt Music Publishing in 2001. With over one hundred cuts and five #1 singles under her belt, she has pitched songs recorded by the Backstreet Boys, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Martina McBride, Jodee Messina, Phil Vassar, Wynonna, Garth Brooks, Lee Ann Womack, Lonestar, Jamie O’Neill, Jessica Andrews, Shawn Colvin, Randy Travis, and Montgomery Gentry…  Most notably, Daane was responsible for pitching the country/pop crossover #1, “This Kiss,” recorded by Faith Hill which went on to receive honors as ACM Single Of The Year, CMA Single and Song Of The Year, and a Grammy nomination for Country Song Of The Year.  In July 2008, Daane began her new role as Sr. VP Creative and head of Kobalt’s Nashville office, representing Dennis Matkosky, Desmond Child, Kelly Clarkson, Gary Burr, Darrell Brown, Shane McAnally, Robin Lerner, Jon McElroy, Aaron Benward, Dave Gibson, Alana Grace, Felix McTeigue, Tony Colton, Bud Lee and Green River Ordinance, along with supporting Kobalt's global roster including Ryan Tedder, Billy Steinberg, Matthew Wilder, Lindy Robbins and many others.
