Wendy Waldman

 Wendy Waldman is a recording artist, a platinum songwriter and a record producer. Her late father, Fred Steiner, wrote the Perry Mason theme, music for Twilight ZoneStar TrekRocky and Bullwinkle,Gunsmoke and was a noted film music scholar. Wendy started the band Bryndle in the early ‘70s with friends Karla Bonoff, Kenny Edwards, and Andrew Gold. Her first solo album, Love Has Got Me, (Warner Bros ‘73) was Rolling Stone’s 'singer-songwriter debut of the year.' Over 70 artists have recorded her songs in multiple genres. Some of Wendy's best known songs include: 'Save The Best For Last,' 'The Sweetest Days' (Vanessa Williams), 'Fishin' In The Dark' (Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Garth Brooks), 'I Owe You One' (Aaron Neville), and 'I'm Gone' (Alison Krauss).  One of the first women producers in country and acoustic music, she wrote songs for artists now considered classics: New Grass Revival (Bela Fleck, Sam Bush, John Cowan and Pat Flynn), Bryndle, Suzy Bogguss, the late Artie Traum, and Ronny Cox. In recent years, Wendy can be found writing, film scoring, producing and touring.
