Fabienne Leys

Fabienne began her broad-based career in the music industry in 2002 working in the publicity departments of the famed Arista Records and Def Jam Recordings. A transition to A&R at Def Jam under the mentorship of Jay Brown resulted in her integral involvement in the following albums whose aggregate sales are over 10 million units worldwide: Nas' 'Hip Hop Is Dead' and Rihanna's 'A Girl Like Me' and 'Good Girl Gone Bad.'  In early 2008 she joined newly-founded Roc Nation, where she honed her artist development acumen with its growing roster, and expanded her duties beyond A&R to include management of mixers, producers and songwriters, including NO ID, James Fauntleroy II, Makeba Riddick, Switch and Dave Pensado. In 2011, she joined Atom Factory where she continues to leverage her considerable experience in managing the careers of new hitmakers like Da Internz and Fisticuffs and established artists such as Q-Tip, as well as establishing and growing the music publishing roster for Glojoe Music Publishing, a joint venture founded in 2011 by industry veteran Vince Herbert with Universal Music Publishing.
