Eric Bazilian

Eric Bazilian, along with Rob Hyman, co-founded the Hooters in 1980. With a total of six albums, the Hooters achieved worldwide superstar status throughout the ‘80s and ‘90s. Securing his status as a songwriting architect of the highest degree, Eric composed, produced and performed on Joan Osborne’s debut release Relish which was nominated for seven Grammy Awards in 1995. He received his first solo Grammy nomination for Song Of The Year, single handedly writing the #3 Billboard smash hit, “One Of Us.”  Eric has also provided worldwide hits such as Billie Myers’ “Kiss The Rain,” Robbie Williams’ “Old Before I Die,” Amanda Marshall’s “Believe In You,” Ricky Martin’s “Private Emotion” and “Remember The Good Times.” In 2007, the Hooters release Time Stand Still, their first album in 14 years. In recent years, Eric's co-write for Rick Martin ('The Best Thing About Me Is You'/'Lo Mejor De Mi Vida Eres Tu') received a Latin Grammy nomination and an ASCAP Latin Award. He also had songs recently recorded by Kristin Chenoweth, a song co-written with Carlos Santana on his new instrumental album, the majority of the songs on the last two Scorpions albums as well as a collaboration with Swedish folk-rock legend Mats Wester. The project is called Bazilian & Wester and the album is What Shall Become Of The Baby.
