Dallas Martin
Music Executive Dallas Martin attended Clark Atlanta University where he discovered his love for music and marketing. It was at Clark where Dallas started his company BluPrint Entertainment which specializes in event planning, consulting and artist management. BluPrint has planned and hosted events for many notables in the entertainment industry such as Rick Ross, Young Jeezy, Allen Iverson, Nas and Juelz Santana. In a short amount of time, BluPrint has created a name in Atlanta as one of the premiere event planning and promotions teams in the city. Dallas served as A&R Consultant to former Island Def Jam EVP Shakir Stewart, where he provided A&R coordination duties and contributed songs to albums such as Young Jeezy’s The Inspiration and Recession albums, Rick Ross’s Port of Miami and Trilla albums, Janet Jackson’s Discipline, Karina’s First Love and Brutha's self-titled debut album where he placed the group’s first single. Dallas joined the ranks of Island Def Jam as A&R in 2009 where he worked on projects such as Juelz Santana Born to Lose Built To Win and Mariah Carey’s Remix album. As A&R at one of the most respected hip-hop labels in the industry, his role was to manage the album creation process, oversee recording budgets of up to one million dollars and to seek cross-promotional opportunities for the artists he represented. Dallas worked for Def Jam until 2010 when he became Director of A&R at Warner Bros. Records.
