LA-based film & television composer, recording artist and remixer Cato got started by tweaking modular synthesizers and writing as well as performing experimental electronic/industrial music to receptive, if sometime frightened, audiences.  Subsequently he wrote music for feature films including Stone (starring Robert De Niro) and Smokin' Aces (dir. Joe Carnahan, starring Andy Garcia and Jeremy Piven) and scored television specials like Mini's First Time (dir. Nick Guthe, prod. Kevin Spacey, starring Alec Baldwin) and The Kennedy Detail (by 3-time Oscar™ nominee Vince DiPersio). Cato has tracks featured in TV-shows like Dexter, releases artist projects ('Eccotonic') and is frequently commissioned for remixes with credits including Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, Theme from Mission: Impossible and the triphop band Alpha.  Cato's music is also featured in 100's of major movie trailers and commercials.
